"La Bamba" Ritchie Valens - Week 6
Hello everyone, today I am going to post about a song name "La Bamba" by Ritchie Valens. But also "La Bamba" is film by Luis Valdez. Richard Steven Valenzuela, this is a real name of the Ritchie Valens. Ritchie Valens was a Mexican American and he was born in May 13, 1941 in Los Angeles and he passed out in February 3, 1959. Ritchie Valens was a singer, composer, and a great guitarist. The song 'La Bamba" is a kind of Mexican folk song and Ritchie Valens sang this song in rock & roll version. When I heard this song it was a very fun and exciting song. Although I could not understand what the lyrics was saying but the energy and other thing was very exciting. I could see that in 1958 lot of people liked this song and because of the fame this song could be used in these days. I highly recommend to you guys.

Thanks for your blog! That is cool to learn more about Ritchie Valens and where he came from. I agree with you, you really can’t understand what he says due to it being in Spanish but you can really feel the energy from the song. I imagine that a lot of people enjoyed dancing to this song because of the fast pace that it had. Probably made for some fun times. Good job on your blog!
